47th Annual Minute Man Race Returns to Westport’s Compo Beach on April 26
The 47th Annual Minute Man Race will take place on Sunday, April 26 at 8:30 a.m. at Compo Beach in Westport, Connecticut. The long-standing community tradition is expected to draw approximately 1,000 participants and features a USATF-certified 10K run, 5K run/walk, and Kids Fun Run designed for participants of all ages and abilities.
Hosted by the Women’s League of Westport, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the local community through volunteerism and philanthropic giving, the event supports charitable organizations in Westport and surrounding towns through its grantmaking program. Over the past year alone, the League awarded approximately $65,000 to local nonprofits, including Circle of Care, Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 399.
Now in its 47th year, the Minute Man Race continues to bring together competitive runners, families, and neighbors in a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the spirit of community, generosity, and shared purpose that defines Westport
