40th Annual Golf Classic
JOIN TAMPA EAST SERTOMA CLUB’S
40th ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC
For 40 years, Tampa East Sertoma has hosted an annual Golf Classic to raise funds to support local charitable organizations. This year’s event will be held on Friday, October 24th at The Eagles Golf Club, 16901 Nine Eagles Drive, Odessa, Florida.
Join us for a great day of golf in an 18-hole four-person scramble. Also join us in honoring teams of disabled Armed Forces Veterans, sponsored by individual Tampa East Sertoma Club members.
The entry fee for this year’s event is $155 per player which includes greens fees, golf cart (two players per cart), range balls, goodie bag, buffet-style lunch and dinner and door prizes. The 18-hole, four-person scramble will begin with a 1:00pm shotgun start, and registration opens at 10:30am on the day of the event to allow plenty of time for a buffet lunch before the tournament.
On-course contests for Putting, Closest to Pin, Longest Drive and Hole-in-One will add some extra challenges along the way. The event includes a silent auction, a 50/50 Drawing and additional prizes before a buffet dinner and Awards Ceremony at the completion of the tournament. On-course Tee Sign sponsorships and Gold, Silver and Bronze Golf Classic sponsorships are available. Player and team reservations must be made by October 22nd.
Each year, the Tampa East Sertoma Golf Classic raises more than $25,000 to support local charitable organizations including: USF Audiology Scholarships, Self Relance, Lopez Exceptional School, Early Childhood Council, Skip-A-Lunch/Feed-A-Bunch, Buddy Baseball, Boys and Girls Club of Temple Terrace, A League of Their Own, Sertoma Speech and Hearing Foundation, and the John Tragon Foundation. Come join us as we celebrate our 60th year of SERvice TO MAnkind in the Tampa Bay Area.
Tampa East Sertoma club was chartered in 1965, and since its beginning, the Club has donated nearly 2.5 million dollars back to the community, and members have volunteered more than 800,000 hours for fundraisers and community services. Tampa East Sertoma Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and part of Sertoma, Inc.
