Bud Deihl and Chance Bell invite you to join them for “Pipes on the Wind”—a continuation of our free, live bagpipe concert and feast.
Bagpipes are a haunting and majestic instrument. Pipes themselves are a wind instrument and the surrounding wind can carry their tunes across the countryside evoking a multitude of emotions. A lone piper on a mountain side can gather a clan or share a lament in the form of a classical piobaireachd. The wind can also carry the sound of pipes making merry and creating joy as we have experienced with the invasion of the “Tartan Army” during the 2026 World Cup competition. And, who is not be moved by the sound of a pipe band coming down the street or a hornpipe or jig inspiring the spirit of dancing and good “craic”?
Tonight we hope our pipes will travel on the wind and bring joy to all those within hearing distance.
Following the concert, please join us in the fellowship hall for our famous feast and the opportunity to share in good fellowship with others.
