Pittman Scholarship Award Reception Please join us in celebrating the 2026 R.F. “Red” Pittman Scholars!This year's award reception will take place on Tuesday, May 5, from 6-7 p.m. at the Community Foundation Tampa Bay. Light refreshments will be served.The R. F. Pittman Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Tampa Tribune publisher R. F. “Red” Pittman. It recognizes the top three percent of the graduating class at each public, charter and private Hillsborough County high school. These honorees are selected each year by their respective schools using the school’s own measures of academic standing.
