2026 Beecham Cemetery Association Notice of Meeting
The community is invited to join the Beecham Cemetery Association for its annual meeting and potluck on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at St. Luke's Methodist Church Edmond Campus - Youth Room at 900 N. Sooner Rd, Edmond OK 73034
It's a special year as we celebrate 135 years of stewardship. We'll go over our latest initiatives at the cemetery and host our famous annual auction! (Bring cash or Venmo) Welcome but not required: Bring a dish for the potluck, an item for the auction, or a donation for the Association.
Our historical archives will also be made available for viewing, and we will have copies of our book "Blistered Heels" available for purchase. "Blistered Heels" is a historical account of the early life and settler's story of Nathan Beecham as he and his family and party members migrated to Indian Territory during the 1889 Land Run and settled the community of Pleasant Home. The story is a 2nd hand account told by one of Nathan's grandchildren in the 1960s.
