2025 Teen Poetry Slam Series
The 3rd Annual Parle Endeavors Battle of the Boroughs Teen Poetry Slam Series is coming to Staten Island, Harlem & Brooklyn next week!
The teen slam is open to all youth 13 – 19 years old. Must still be 19 years old on the date of the Finals on July 26, 2025.
Performances:
Preliminary rounds will feature poets performing one poem/a cappella rap, up to 3 minutes.
Semifinals will feature performers doing 2 poems each.
Finals will feature performers doing 3 poems each.
Performers should sign up with 1 preliminary round. However, if a performer doesn’t advance to the semifinals after their initial preliminary competition, they can compete at another preliminary date.
***Prize Money Distributed at the Finals***:
1st Place: $1,000
2nd Place: $700
3rd Place: $400
4th Place: $250
5th Place: $150
