2024 Halawa Xeriscape Garden Unthirsty Plant Sale
Everyone is invited to the 2024 Annual Unthirsty Plant Sale at Hālawa Xeriscape Garden at 99-1268 Iwaena Street on Saturday, August 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The three-acre garden, a lush oasis nestled in Hālawa Valleyʻs Central Park industrial area, is a live display of drought tolerant and native plant varieties. Admission is free. Park on Iwaena Street and catch a free shuttle to the garden.
The Plant Sale is a family-friendly event that will offer the following:
• A variety of xeric plants by local vendors.
• A team of “plant doctors” who will offer plant care advice and information.
• Educational booths including rain barrel catchment information.
• Free soil conditioner
• Cactus and Succulent Society of Hawai‘i display of award-winning cacti and succulents.
