"Authority & Rebellio"? Series to Spotlight Human Experimentation | April 12-14 The University of Pennsylvania's Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy will hold its first "Bioethics Film Festival"? on April 12-14 in the Harold Prince Theatre, Annenberg Center.
Films include Experimenter (2015), Dying to Know (2014), The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015) and Transformation (2006). A panel of Penn faculty and special guests will discuss each film after the screenings. Special guests include:
Rick Doblin, founder of the Multi-Disciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies;
Werner Erhard, founder of the Erhard Seminars Training (est) organization; and
Zach Leary, host of the "It's All Happening" podcast and son of LSD pioneer Timothy Leary.
Free tickets are available, first-come first-served, via the film festival website (pennbioethicsfilmfest.org). Cooperating organizations include Penn Cinema Studies and the Department of History and Sociology of Science.
