The 19th Annual Lycée French Market will transform Chicago’s French international school into a lively Parisian marketplace, comprised of more than 60 local and French artisan vendors offering home décor, apparel, jewelry, gourmet food, and more. Guests can also enjoy a menu of delicious, authentic French recipes at the French Market’s famous Bistro, a favorite each year.
The Market will take place on Saturday, November 11, from 10am to 5pm; and Sunday, November 12, from 10am to 4pm at the Lycée Français de Chicago. The two-day event, which attracts upwards of 2,000 visitors each year, is an opportunity for the Lycée to open its doors to its neighbors and to celebrate the school’s French culture.
The 2023 Lycée French Market is open to the public and held at the school’s Lincoln Square campus, located at 1929 West Wilson Avenue. A $5 donation is suggested at entry, and tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
Shoppers can easily access the Market from the Damen Brown Line stop, one block from the school. Street or paid garage parking is also available (Ravenswood Garage, 4551 N Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60640).
Internationally acclaimed French artist and illustrator, Yann Legendre, once again returns as the poster artist for the event. Limited edition prints will be available for purchase at the Market.
Additional information on the French Market is available at lyceefrenchmarket.org.
