    05/18/2024 12:00 PM 05/20/2024 05:00 PM America/Boise 153rd Portuguese Pentecost Festival This is the 153rd Annual Portuguese Pentecost Festival in Half Moon Bay. Half Moon Bay is the oldest Portuguese Organization in the United States and the celebration is rich in Portuguese and Half Moon Bay tradition. Enjoy a delicious beef sandwich, play a carnival game and watch the Queens of the day walk down Main Street celebrating Portugal's Queen Isabel, who was thought to have saved the Azores Islands from famine. On Sunday, May 19th, he procession from the hall will begin at 10:45am and head down Main Street to the Catholic Church for Mass. Following mass we invite whole community to join us for a lunch to celebrate. Then join the fun of the live auction.
