Spence is a Dallas, Texas native with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from
Texas Christian University and a Master of Music in Opera Performance from Oklahoma
City University.
His regional credits include Ohio Light Opera (No, No, Nanette, Arizona Lady, Camelot)
and Utah Festival Opera (She Loves Me, Carmen, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat), among others. Favorite roles include Monostatos in Die Zauberflöte, Chip
Tolentino in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Joey in Sister Act, Bardolfo
in Falstaff, and others.
He studies privately with Dr. Courtney Crouse and enjoys country two-stepping, hiking,
dance, cycling, working out, and playing Pokémon when not performing.
