1-800-TruckWreck, V-103 and New Birth Missionary Baptist Church are joining together to provide meals to approximately 2,000 Atlanta-area families in the annual Turkey Giveaway where $70,000 in turkeys will be distributed – one of the largest Thanksgiving food giveaway efforts in metro Atlanta for the fourth year in a row.
The first 2,000 people to arrive at the church will each receive one free turkey. The event is free and open to the community. Registration is not required. Tickets for the turkeys will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
