Master Sommelier Kygungmoon Kim will host an exclusive one-night collaboration at steak omakase restaurant Bonyeon on Thursday, January 16th. Toast to the trending Korean beverage category, sool, and embark on a 10-course steak omakase and pairing dinner curated by Bonyeon's chef team, beverage director Tenzing Palden, and Kygungmoon Kim. When conceptualizing Bonyeon, owners Chef Sangtae and Kate Park envisioned it as a celebration of their Korean heritage through authentic flavors and culinary techniques. And Kyungmoon, who used to work at Jungsik in New York City (the first MICHELIN three-star Korean restaurant in the US as of December 2024), saw tons of opportunity for sool varieties like Soju in the US market to match the momentum of chef-driven Korean restaurants. Together, they have curated a steak omakase and sool experience that celebrates Korean cuisine and delights tastebuds with new and exciting flavors.
