IM=X® 2-Day Pilates Mat Certification:
IM=X® has been called "the strength training version of Pilates" by Fitness Magazine and is known for its unique choreography. Learn the IM=X® fundamentals and eight sequences of floor exercises which will provide you with more than enough material to teach beginner, intermediate and advanced class formats. The IM=X® Mat workouts use a Ring and Body Bar to increase resistance – toning the arms, shoulders, hips, upper/lower back and trunk muscles. The certification is 2 days and an open book Written Exam is required upon course completion. To be awarded with a Certificate, participants must complete 20 Practice Hours on their own and a Practical Exam with an IM=X® Pilates Master Trainer via Zoom within three months of course completion.

Learn how to train clients on the IM=X® Xercizer (reformer). This course teaches you eight training sequences and multiple formats that can be modified for beginner, intermediate and advanced clients. The lectures and exercise labs provide research on stabilization, breathing, alignment and muscle recruitment. Considerations for spring loading, equipment configuration and group formatting are reviewed. Participants learn the goal of each exercise, its target muscles, verbal and tactile cues, common postural adjustments, and safety issues. The certification course runs for 3 days and an open book Written Exam is required upon course completion. To be awarded with a Certificate, participants must complete 20 Practice Hours on their own and a Practical Exam with an IM=X® Pilates Master Trainer via Zoom within three months of course completion.

The IM=X® Pilates Basic Intensive qualifies fitness enthusiasts and fitness professionals alike to teach our unique Mat and Xercizer (reformer) programs.
