See Beyond Festival
The Maryland School for the Blind will host its fifth annual See Beyond Festival on October 3rd, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Maryland School for the Blind campus (3501 Taylor Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21236). This free community event encourages people of all ages and abilities to “see beyond” through adapted activities that help everyone learn about and embrace accessibility. All visitors to the See Beyond Festival will have the unique opportunity to try adaptations while wearing light-blocking eye shades in a host of blind sports. Visitors will also be able to experience orientation and mobility while navigating the white cane obstacle course, among other activities.
