The Four Cheese-a-Roni will be making its Pizza-Mound Debut on Monday September 6, 2021 at 4:00 PM
During the 1971 season 4 pitchers from the Baltimore Orioles won at least 20 games on the season Dave McNally, Pat Dobson, Mike Cuellar and Jim Palmer.
The "Four Cheese-a-Roni" Special Pizza was created in their honor by The Charm'tastic Mile & Angeli's Pizzeria (Little Italy) www.angelispizzeria.com for the 4 O's pitchers of '71 during the 50th Anniversary-year (1971-2021) of their historical season.
The "Four Cheese-a-Roni" Pizza is made with Fontina, Gorgonzola, Mozzarella & Parmesan cheese. It's topped with Pepperoni to close the game for an O's victory. The Pizza-mound debut for the "Four Cheese-a-Roni" will be September 6, 2021. On that date (9-6-1995) Cal Ripken broke Lou Gehrig's consecutive games streak of 2130 with 2131. Eddie Murray one-year later (9-6-1996) hit his 500th homer. The "Four Cheese-a-Roni" will retail for $21.31.
The Four Cheese-a-Roni Pizza will be running the bases from September 6, 2021 - October 6, 2021. October 6, 2021 will be the 30th Anniversary of the last Orioles game played at Memorial Stadium.
