In Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life, Shantideva says “Buddha taught all the method practices explained above to enable us to complete the training in wisdom realizing emptiness. Therefore, those who wish to liberate themselves and others from suffering should strive to develop this wisdom.”
In this weekend course, special guest teacher Gen Samten will be teaching how to practically train in developing the wisdom of the two truths. With this sword-like wisdom we can pierce through the ignorance and confusion that so often cloud our daily life and begin to relate to ourselves and the world around us in a light and flexible way. We will naturally become more easygoing and grasp onto things less tightly. Our daily life will move from its normal state of frustration and discontent to a state of confidence that joyfully wishes to bring benefit to the world.
Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary.
