30 years since ‘80s sleaze rockers Faster Pussycat stormed onto the Hollywood music scene with their down and dirty attitude and pulse pounding sound, the infamous band is back and in the midst of the second half of their “Dirty 30” tour.
And lucky for Philadelphia fans, they are making one stop in the City of Brotherly Love at Harrah’s Philadelphia’s The Block on Sunday, November 6 with local favorites Hammer Down, Whiskey Grin and Mantis.
Best known for their massive top 25 hit single “House of Pain”, which helped propel the album Wake Me When It’s Over to Gold status, Faster Pussycat is still considered one of the top rock bands of the late 1980s. In fact, after the release of Wake Me When It’s Over in 1989, the group toured with just about every major act of that era including Guns n Roses, Motorhead, Motley Crue, Kiss, Alice Cooper and more.
In recent years, the band put out their first and only live album entitled Front Row from the Donkey Show, which received great reviews from fans and critics alike. Their current tour kicked off in the spring of 2016 and has been packing venues in cities across the U.S.
Faster Pussycat’s show at Harrah’s Philadelphia’s The Block will include a mix of classic favorites, including “House of Pain” as well as newer songs from the band’s more recent albums like The Power and the Glory Hole, which was released in 2006.

Doors open at 7 PM and meet and greet packages are available.
