Call for Volunteers for Community Art Projects: Edmonston’s Centennial Eco Float and School Banners

Call for Volunteers for Community Art Projects:

Edmonston’s Centennial Eco Float and School Banners

Edmonston, MD: Edmonston is turning 100, and to celebrate this momentous occasion, the community is coming together for a special art project and parade! We're looking for passionate individuals of all ages to volunteer their creativity and help build an eco-friendly parade float and school banners. No matter your artistic experience, there's a way to get involved! Lend your talents to designing the float, showcasing different ways to protect the environment. Or, help create banners representing your local school, featuring its logo, mascot, and a message honoring Edmonston's commitment to the environment. Nonprofits interested in collaborating on these projects please contact Jamileth Mendez at [email protected] or 301-699-8806.

This is a fantastic opportunity for families, students ( parent/guardian required in attendance for elementary schoolers), and everyone in the community to come together, create lasting memories, and celebrate Edmonston's centennial. The Centennial event will be held on Saturday, June 1st, at 3:00 PM at Edmonston Recreation Center located at 5100 Tanglewood Dr., Edmonston, MD 20781. Let's showcase Edmonston's creativity and community spirit as we celebrate this milestone!
