In today's economy, a successful fundraising event can make all of the difference in an organization's financial health. Whether you're involved with a charity, alumni association, school PTO or business, this course will offer valuable tips for planning the perfect golf outing. Some of the topics will include economics of the event, forming a committee, planning the outing timeline, marketing, finding sponsors and volunteers, using the Internet to organize and promote the event, planning and follow up. Note: Both the first time golf outing planner and the experienced fund raiser will benefit from this class. You do not need to play golf to run a golf event or to take this course.
