Massage and Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy relies upon creating a local suction to mobilize blood flow in order to promote healing. When the cup is left in place blood stasis is formed and localized healing takes place. Cupping aids in toxin release, lymphatic activation, reduced muscle pain and increased oxygen flow in fascia and muscular tissues. The session includes cupping of adhesions, massage strokes and light stretching. After a cupping session you may have red marks or " blood marks" that may last from 1-3 weeks depending on level of adhesion release.
