NAMI Basics covers treatment options; managing crisis situations; problem solving, and communicating effectively; taking care of yourself and handling your stress in a positive way; advocating for your child's rights in school and in health care settings; understanding the challenges and impact on the entire family; and developing confidence and stamina to support your child with compassion. The class is a 6 week commitment by ZOOM every Thursday, starting February 8th through March 14th, 6:30-9:00 pm. This is a free educational ...
