Another Octave: CT Women's Chorus
Another Octave: Connecticut Women's Chorus (AO:CWC) will be performing their show In Transit! on SATURDAY, MAY 11th at 3 PM at United Congregational Church of Tolland, 45 Tolland Green in Tolland, CT. Founded in the fall of 1989, AO:CWC celebrates their choices and experiences through the power of music. It is an auditioned chorus with roots in the lesbian community; they are open to all women and encourage diversity. Another Octave performs an eclectic repertoire, including standard concert pieces as well as traditional and contemporary music that reflects women's lives. Together, they work for musical excellence and perform for the pleasure of their audiences and themselves. This season's show theme is In Transit! This concert is sponsored by the United Congregational Church of Tolland's Open and Affirming Team. Freewill donations will be accepted at the concert and a reception with light refreshments will follow. Treat an amazing woman (or two) to an afternoon of great music! Hope to see you there!
