Emberly's Embrace Fundraiser.
The event is free and open to the public. Families and community members are invited to come out for an afternoon of music, food, local vendors, raffles, a silent auction and activities for all ages.
This year’s event will also feature a Touch-a-Truck, giving children the opportunity to see and explore a variety of vehicles up close. Live music will be provided by Over and Out.
The main goal of this year’s fundraiser is to raise enough money to purchase a Caring Cradle for two local hospitals. Proceeds will go toward a Caring Cradle for Heywood Hospital’s LaChance Maternity Department in Gardner, Massachusetts, and Cheshire Medical Center’s Women and Children’s Health Unit in Keene, New Hampshire.
A Caring Cradle is designed to help families who experience the loss of a baby. The cooling system allows parents additional time with their baby following a loss, giving them the opportunity to hold their baby, say goodbye and create memories during an incredibly difficult time.
