Spill the Tea – Tour of Salisbury Mansion 5/9
Tea became a focal point of the Revolutionary War and was important to social conventions in the nineteenth century, as well.
This tour will discuss how the Salisbury family was involved in the trade, purchase, and sale of tea by exploring various art and artifacts throughout the Mansion. A special focus will be on decorative arts, specifically the tea sets which are displayed throughout the house.
“Spill the Tea” is the perfect opportunity to explore the Mansion and enjoy the experience as part of our expanding theme-based tour offerings.
Registration if required and limited to 12 people. Cost is $10 per person and FREE for Worcester Historical Museum members.
