Threads of Connection: Honoring the Gifts We Weave Together
Join us for this year's annual special event day. Our theme this year is Threads of Connection: Honoring the Gifts We Weave Together.
​Our day will begin at noon with a viewing of our textile art celebration titled "Threads of Connection." We will celebrate the connections that bind us through this powerful medium.
​Our keynote address "When Thoughts and Threads Collide", will be presented by artist Valarie Poitier. Valarie is an independent curator, artist, and lecturer known for her art quilts that document personal and historic events. Her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries across the U.S. and internationally, and she is a sought-after speaker and teacher.
​​After our keynote, we there will be a choice of workshops and our day will conclude with an open mic

After the workshops, join us for light refreshments and enjoy a heartwarming open mic session. We welcome you to share your creativity, stories, or simply enjoy the diverse talents of your fellow attendees.

​This event is offered on a donation basis. We suggest a donation of $30-$50. More if you can, less if you can't.
​Donations can be made in advance through PayPal, or you can donate with cash or check at the event.
