Winter and the holiday season can be a tough time for many. In the “Blue Christmas” season, as the “frosty winds gave moan,” First Parish Church of Stow & Acton (FPC) will offer a service exploring how to navigate the “most wonderful time of the year” and how to have hope that there will be “peace on earth, goodwill to all.”
The service, to be led by the Rev. Dr. Cynthia L. Landrum, will take place both in person and virtually on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. Masking is optional; a section of the sanctuary is reserved for those who wish to wear masks. To enter the virtual room, go to tinyurl.com/22-23fpc.
FPC warmly welcomes gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people. For information about child care and religious education classes, contact FPC Director of Religious Education Rayla D. Baldwin-Mattson at [email protected]. FPC’s facilities are wheelchair accessible. For more information, call 978-897-8149 or visit www.fpc-stow-acton.org. The church is located at 353 Great Rd., at the corner of routes 117 and 62, in Stow.
