Performance and post-show talkback: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

A Common Thread Theatre Company will offer talkbacks with the director and cast of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time following the 7:30 p.m. performance on Friday, Nov. 17, at Dennison Memorial Hall at Boston Church of Christ in Framingham. In the Framingham telling of the 2015 Tony Award winner for Best Play, a 15-year-old autistic girl named Chris investigates the murder of her neighbor’s dog, leading her to uncover secrets that change her whole world. In order to face this new reality, she must learn how to survive as an autistic person in a society that isn’t built for her. Chris is played by Katherine McCrackin of Worcester, the first openly autistic actor to play Chris as a woman. McCrackin and Megan Lummus of Worcester, the first openly autistic person to direct the show, will be a part of the post-show talkbacks. Tickets are available at https://www.acommonthreadtheatre.org/box-office. There is no extra charge for the talkback. All of the performances are sensory-friendly and accommodations have been made to make the show as disability-friendly as possible. The final performance is on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m.
