Averill House Vineyard this Father's Day for some sips, some suds, and a delectable pig roast!
We decided that Dad deserved a hearty helping of food and adult beverages this Father's Day so we reached out to The Pig Kahuna(Portland, Maine) to come on down to the vineyard at the crack of dawn, light up their mobile spit, and roast the plumpest, meatiest, whole hog they could find! Then we added some of their most scrumptious side dishes that they offered to pair with our wines!
We thought....Why stop with just wine and a whole hog! So we contacted our friends over at Frogg Brewing (Marlborough, NH) and roped them in to come down for a few hours to celebrate Father's Day and offer their amazing beers and brews to pair with our wine flights!
We'll be sharing laughs and memories over some creative brews and vintages while we await the arrival of the star of the show... the slow roasted whole hog!
