Adult Summer Reading 2024 - Coming Soon!

This year's theme is "Read, Renew, Repeat" and we're playing Adventure Bingo to connect with and enjoy all the wonderful resources that Milford has to offer! Everyone who participates will win a prize, but the more you participate, the more tickets you will earn to put toward our Adventure Prize drawing and our Grand Prize drawing. To join in, starting on June 24 you can visit the Information Desk to pick up your Adventure Bingo card, OR you may print the card from our website (attachments will be added June 24): https://www.milfordtownlibrary.org/reference-department/pages/adult-summer-reading-2024 This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Town Library, and supported by our friends at CraftRoots Brewing, Depot Street Tavern, Milford Bicycle, Rail Trail Flatbread Company, and TJ Cafe & Games! HOW IT WORKS Fill out your Adventure Bingo card with everything you read and did between Monday, June 24 and Friday, August 16. When you have filled in at least one line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) of five squares (bingo), you can present your card at the MTL Information Desk for verification and ticket(s).Only one card per person. All cards must be submitted prior to our 6 p.m. closing time on Friday, August 16. Prize drawings and winner notification will take place Monday, August 19. Prizes can be picked up at the Information Desk anytime during regular Library hours, through Friday, September 6. Prizes not picked up will be awarded to another winner. PRIZES Participating Submit your name to the Information Desk. You’ll earn ONE “Book Buck” to spend at the Friends Bookstore (located next to the grandfather clock and Newspapers/Magazines area of the Library’s main floor)! Each Bingo Line Receive ONE ticket to apply toward our Adventure Prize Drawing! Three winners will each receive one of these amazing prizes: Prize 1: Bookworm Bag - Friends of Milford Town Library reusable tote bag, filled with an assortment of titles for all reading tastes, plus a $50 gift certificate to TJ Cafe & Games Prize 2: Night Out (Or In) Pizza & Beer Combo - $50 gift certificate to Rail Trail Flatbread Company, plus a mixed variety of beer from CraftRoots Brewing Prize 3: Adventure Pack - $50 Milford Bicycle gift certificate, plus some outdoor gear to help you explore more of our beautiful state Blackout When you have completed all 24 bingo squares, submit your card to the Information Desk to enter our Grand Prize Drawing! The winner will receive a $150 gift certificate to Depot Street Tavern!
