Experience Connection, Conversation, and Community at Thomas Edison Charter School’s ParentCamp – May 20, 2025
Looking for a space where your voice is heard and your presence truly matters? Where families, schools, and communities come together in partnership for the benefit of children? Join us for ParentCamp at Thomas Edison Charter School on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at 2200 N. Locust Street, Wilmington, DE 19802 for a powerful evening of dialogue, support, and celebration.
What Is ParentCamp?
ParentCamp is not a traditional conference or school event. It’s an unconference-style experience where attendees don’t sit passively listening to presentations—instead, they actively participate in conversations that matter. ParentCamp provides a space for families, educators, and community partners to come together as equals and co-learners in facilitated dialogue rooms. This collaborative model helps build trust, strengthen relationships, and support a connected school ecosystem that wraps around every child.
Why Should You Attend?
ParentCamp is designed for anyone who cares about children and their success—whether you're a parent, caregiver, teacher, school staff member, nonprofit partner, or engaged community member. When families and schools unite, students thrive. By participating, you'll:
Share your voice and experiences
Gain insights from others walking similar paths
Build meaningful connections
Discover new strategies to support your child
Become part of a broader support network
And yes—there’s food, fun, and childcare too!
