2024 Scott A. Mackler 5K Run/Walk
You can run or walk this 5K, so even if you are not a runner, we encourage you to come out and support the Scott A. Mackler, MD, Ph.D., Assistive Technology Program. To accommodate individuals with families or those who want to participate without running or walking the 5K, we also offer a 1 Mile Fun Walk.
After the race, stay for our awards ceremony and enjoy a full post-race kosher buffet.
The online registration fee is $30 for the 5K Run/Walk and the 1 Mile Fun Walk. Online registration ends Saturday, November 2, at noon. Day-of registration will be $35.
The Scott A. Mackler Memorial 5K Run/Walk supports the Scott A. Mackler, MD, Ph.D., Assistive Technology Program. Assistive technology gives a person with ALS new and alternative means to stay active and continue to participate in everyday activities.
The Scott A. Mackler, MD, Ph.D., Assistive Technology Program provides people with ALS access to assistive technology devices and services often not covered by insurance policies. Additionally, the Program ensures that assistive technology services are integral to ALS clinics and certified treatment centers.
