Delaware Debates 2024
The U.S. Senate and U.S. House debates will be held on October 16, 2024, in Mitchell Hall, a 635-seat theater on the University of Delaware main campus, before a live audience.
The Delaware Governor’s debate will be held on October 17, 2024, in Mitchell Hall. It will be live-streamed and available for delayed streaming. There will not be a live audience for the Governor’s debate.
Ralph Begleiter, founding director of the Center for Political Communication and former CNN journalist, will return to the University of Delaware to moderate.
Delaware Public Media, with producing assistance from the Center for Political Communication will produce a series of “Candidate Conversations” for broadcast and website access. “Candidate Conversations” include additional races of interest beyond the three races featured through Delaware Debates. All interviews will be available on the DPM main Election 2024 page.
The University of Delaware and Delaware Public Media have hosted debates since 2010.
