In addition to normal museum activities, staff are on the floor to facilitate learning through hands-on games and activities relating to the topic for the day. For all ages! This session: Stones & Bones. Our education staff takes you on a geologic tour of the museum featuring hands-on activities with rock specimens, fossils, and science demonstrations. Students learn about the rock cycle, the geologic history of Delaware, how fossils form, and how to identify some common minerals.
