Friends of Sean 4th Annual Golf Classic
The Friends of Sean Foundation is proud to announce its 4th Annual “Friends of Sean Foundation Golf Classic,” taking place Friday, November 7, 2025, at Deerfield Golf Club in Newark, Delaware.
Founded in memory of Sean Sumner, who tragically passed away at just 26, the Friends of Sean Foundation was created by Sean’s closest friends to support families facing similar heartbreak. The foundation’s mission is to ease the financial burdens that often follow unexpected trauma or the loss of a young loved one, including funeral expenses, medical bills, legal fees, and student loans.
This year, the foundation aims to raise $30,000, with 100% of proceeds going directly to local families in need. Over the years, the Golf Classic has grown into a meaningful day of remembrance, community, and compassion, bringing together golfers, sponsors, and volunteers in a shared cause.
Sponsorship opportunities include Premier Sponsorships ($1,500), Hole Sponsorships ($250), and raffle or auction donations. Every contribution helps ensure that families can grieve without the added stress of financial hardship.
