Friends of Sean 4th Annual Golf Classic
The Friends of Sean Foundation is excited to announce its 4th Annual “Friends of Sean Foundation Golf Classic,” taking place Friday, November 7, 2025, at Deerfield Golf Club in Newark, Delaware. This special event brings together the community for a day of golf, friendship, and giving back.
Founded in memory of Sean Sumner, who passed away tragically at just 26, the Friends of Sean Foundation was created by Sean’s closest friends to support families facing unexpected loss. The foundation provides crucial financial assistance for expenses such as funeral costs, medical bills, legal fees, and student loans — helping families focus on healing during difficult times.
This year, the Golf Classic aims to raise $30,000, with every dollar going directly to local families in need. Over the years, the event has become more than a golf outing — it’s a heartfelt celebration of Sean’s life, uniting golfers, sponsors, and volunteers around a shared mission of compassion and community support.
Sponsorship opportunities are available, including Premier Sponsorships ($1,500), Hole Sponsorships ($250), and raffle or auction donations. Every contribution helps ensure that families facing loss can find financial relief when they need it most.
