NJ Makers Day – Minecraft In Real Life!
Saturday, March 22, 1-4 p.m. Families are invited to celebrate NJ Makers Day at the Cumberland County Library as we bring the ultimate “maker” game – Minecraft – to life! This family-friendly program will feature hands-on activities in every “biome” of the library, with each station spotlighting a “real-life” version of something found in Minecraft: ● Animals from Minecraft with the Cohanzick Zoo ● Plant seeds with the American Littoral Society ● Dye wool with dyes made from plants with fiber artist Linda Jackson ● Create Pixel Art with Jennifer Carll-Simon ● Minecraft Photo Shoot ● And more! This free program is suitable for all ages and has been funded by a New Jersey Makers Day MiniGrant from the New Jersey State Library and the PSEG Foundation. Registration is requested.
