“XMAS TUTU”, Reggaeton Holiday song, new music release Nov. 7th
Holiday song “Xmas Tutu” to topple the only two chart-topping Christmas songs in 66 years
The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don’t Be Late) had been the holiday chart-topper from 1958 until in 2019 Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You”, went No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Xmas Tutu inspired by the joy which permeated the Harris for President campaign, was written by Delaware’s own M. Denise Tolliver and produced by Ritchie Rubini. The Reggaeton sing-along’s infectious chorus is “What I am is happy to be me, spreading Holiday cheer, footloose and fancy, anyone can see me, jamming in my Xmas Tutu.”
Beyond the music chart, today, Streaming, now reaching into billions of plays and replays of a single song, by the sheer number of streams on Spotify, is the standard in determining which hits are tops.
A song generally, which earns a penny per stream, can add up in streaming income alone. More money also can be made by a hit song through album sales, downloads, licensing and other types of royalties.
