Cecilton U Parish's United Methodist Men are hosting a CROP WALK!
This Crop Walk (Christian Rural Overseas Program), is sponsored by our Cecilton UM Parish United Methodist Men, to raise funds to help world hunger through the Church World Services.
Our walk is within the town of Cecilton, through several of the neighborhoods in the town, beginning at Zion UMC and ending there. It is approximately 3 miles in length.
Registration begins at 8:30 am and the walk steps off at 9:30. We ask that you contribute at least $15 per person, and that you try to get your family, friends, co-workers and companions to also contribute to your efforts.
25% of the funds raised are shared locally through two local charities, Deep Roots at Clairvaux Farms and Faith in Action, our local food pantry.
