In-store Author Event Alafair Burke
The Note delivers the twists and turns readers have come to expect from Burke while also exploring roles of race and class, the special bonds and tensions within female friendships, and the ways that social media culture demonizes women. As Gillian Flynn describes, "Burke's female characters are always very involving, with big, strong voices." Alafair will be in conversation with Watermark Books' very own Shane Grebel. This event will be held in-store Wednesday, January 8th at 6pm, and is free. Books will be available for purchase at Watermark Books & Café, and a Q& A and signing will follow.
