Foundation To Be Named Later will be hosting their first ever virtual Hot Stove Cool Music concert to raise critical funds for youth and families in the Chicago and Boston area that have been severely impacted by recent events. Spear headed by Chicago Cubs President Theo Epstein and legendary sports reporter Peter Gammons, the evening includes a roster of talented musicians including: Grammy Award-winning artists Common, James Taylor, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, Band of Their Own (featuring Letters to Cleo’s Kay Hanley and Belly’s Tanya Donelly and Gail Greenwood); MLB pitching standout Bronson Arroyo; New York Yankee legend Bernie Williams; Chicago Cubs play-by-play announcer Len Kasper; Sunshine Boys; Nick Lowe; Bill Janovitz (Buffalo Tom); Will Dailey; Eli “Paperboy” Reed; Nada Surf; and Jason Narducy (Bob Mould/Superchunk). Legendary actor Mike O’Malley will serve as master of the ceremony.
The virtual concert will also feature appearances by sports personalities including: Cubs manager and Dancing With the Stars alum David Ross, actor Joel Murray, NESN sportscaster Tom Caron, WXRT host Lin Brehmer, Boston Red Sox President and CEO Sam Kennedy, MLB greats Ryan Dempster, Lenny DiNardo, David Ortiz and Eduardo Perez along with ESPN’s Jackie MacMullan and Celtics’ CEO Wyc Grousbeck.
