Pollination Celebration at the Willowsford Farm Stand
Join us at the Farm Stand for our first-ever Pollination Celebration! Did you know that pollinators are responsible for one in every three bites of food you eat? Pollinators make the world go round and we’re excited to take this day to appreciate all that they do!
Here’s what you can expect:
- Farm Stand shopping with fresh summer produce and local goods
- Wagon ride tours around the farm, where you’ll learn how pollinators play a vital role in the produce we grow
- A guided butterfly walk led by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy. Registration is required, register here: https://loudounwildlife.org/.../butterfly-walk-willowsford/
- Native plant Sale and free native seed packets while supplies last
- Pollinator-themed kids crafts
- Delicious cha, coffee, and matcha from our friends at Cha Coffee Co.
- Face Painting from the Art Initiative
- Booths from our Farm Partners with local goods and crafts
