Author Steve Berry Talks "The Last Kingdom" at Vienna Community Center

Join the Bards Alley booksellers on Friday, February 24 as we host bestselling author Steve Berry at the Vienna Community Center! Steve will discuss "The Last Kingdom," the newest installment in his globe-trotting Cotton Malone series. Like all Steve Berry novels, "The Last Kingdom" uses history as the inspiration for its thrills. The discovery of a 19th century document leads former U.S. Justice Department agent and current antiquarian bookseller Cotton Malone on a search for the legendary kingdom rumored to have been established by King Ludwig II of Bavaria before his death. Malone and his protégé Luke Daniels race to find clues hidden in three fairytale castles, all while a renegade group advocates for Bavarian independence, a prince plots to restore the Wittelsbach monarchy, and Germany, China, and the U.S. compete for ownership of Ludwig's lands.
