VETERANS GROWING AMERICA AND WEBS TAX PREP TO GIVE 125 MILITARY FAMILIES TOYS FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON
WOODBRIDGE, VA - Military families in the Northern Virginia, Maryland, and DC area will have at least one item to check off the coveted 'Want, Read, and Need 3 Gift List' for the holidays. Veterans Growing America (VGA) and WEBS Tax Preparation and Bookkeeping Services, LLC (WTP) are happy to partner with Operation Homefront to help serve military families by collecting toys to distribute to 125 families in honor of World Kindness Day on November 13th at 15001 Potomac Town Pl #130, Woodbridge, VA 22191.
"We want to help military families in our community," said Clarice Williams, CEO of WTP. "As a Veteran spouse, I remember the events given by Operation Homefront gave my children something to look forward to before their dad came home from a deployment. When you turn on the news, children are seeing their loved ones deployed, still dealing with COVID-19 and other illnesses. The last few years have been tough on not just the adults, but the children too. Real-life events can make having a happy holiday difficult and we want to change that."
