Opera Celebration!
Frank Conlon serves as both masterful accompanist and avuncular host on this tour of treasured classics of opera and with a quartet of soloists sponsored by Partners for the Arts.
This favorite annual event is beloved both by devoted followers of the voice and all listeners captivated by song and story. Featuring Ashley Rose Larkin, Soprano; Melissa Mino, Soprano; Joseph Haughton, Tenor; and John Allen Nelson, Baritone.
Featuring selections by Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, Rogers and Hammerstein, and more.
Tickets are $45 and may be purchased at the door, online at http://www.amadeusconcerts.com or via telephone at (703) 759-5334. Students 17 and under and active military are admitted free of charge. There is ample free parking.
A pre-concert lecture by Music Director A. Scott Wood will begin at 3:15 pm, 45 minutes prior to the start of the concert.
A reception, with refreshments, will follow the concert, at which attendees may meet and chat with the performers and fellow music lovers.
