Book Talk: Mount Vernon thriller “Patriots Circle” discussed with local author John Wasowicz
John Adam Wasowicz will discuss and answer questions about “Patriots Circle,” his new Old Town mystery. The book takes place during the Fourth of July 2026 and incudes several scenes in southeastern Fairfax County, including an investigation along East Boulevard Drive and clashes between competing forces along the George Washington Parkway at the stone bridge and the tunnel at Ft. Hunt Park. Following the discussion, John will sign books and provide each book buyer a bookmark and a Revolutionary War quarter issued by the U.S. Mint commemorating the 250th anniversary of American independence. John has lived in the Mount Vernon area for over 30 years. “Patriots Circle” is the 8th book in the Old Town Mystery series.
