With degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology, Leah has spent years as a classroom teacher. She loves sharing her passion for picture books with her husband, three daughters, dog, and readers of all ages--even those who are kids at heart. I Am a Thundercloud is her debut book. Meghana Narayan is an author and artist devoted to telling stories that reflect the experiences of diverse readers. She lives outside Washington, D.C., with her husband and two young daughters. Kate Albus grew up in New York and now lives with her family in rural Maryland. The already-dangerous pile of reading material on her nightstand grows daily. Her fiction and nonfiction pieces have appeared in publications such as_HuffPost_, McSweeney’s, Yahoo Voices, and October Hill Magazine, among others. She lives in Virginia with her husband, two kids, two cats, and one dog. She is passionate about diversity initiatives, especially in children’s literature. Born in Oakland, Taj started writing as a child and celebrated her first publications in grade school. When she’s not writing, Taj boosts other marginalized writers, practices yoga, co-hosts the Fat Like Me and Better Than Brunch podcasts, shares recipes, and cooks supper club meals for friends. Rania Hanna is a Syrian–American writer and researcher. She is a neuroscience doctoral student at George Mason University. The Jinn Daughter is her debut novel. She lives in Northern Virginia. Sarah Tollok lives in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with her husband and two sons. Her work can be found in anthologies with Improbable Press, Alan Squire Publishing, and Clan Destine Press, as well as numerous online literary journals. As a staff writer with Coffee House Writers, Sarah shares her thoughts about the magic of reading. Her debut book, Bookstories, will be published in 2024 with Balance of Seven.
