Sunday Night House Music Series
On Sunday, January 14, Rai’s Rendezvous in Ashburn will host the first in a series of events featuring local house music DJs. The Sunday House Music Series was created by Wesley Snipes Entertainment and DJ Tommy Junior to promote electronic music in Loudoun County and to provide a venue for local performers to showcase their talents.
“Each week, we’ll offer open decks to DJs in the area while also providing one local DJ with the opportunity to perform a full, feature-length set,” says Wesley (Snipes) Shoap. “We know there is tremendous amount of talent in the area, and we hope people will come from Loudoun County and elsewhere to enjoy this experience.” First up as a featured performer will be DJ Tommy Junior, of Arlington. “Tommy has been hosting events for us at our restaurants for a couple years. He’s brought music of all kinds to our patrons, and we’re excited to see what he can do with the House Music series,” says Basil Kuhn III of Rai’s Rendezvous.
In addition to hosting events at Sully’s Pour House (Herndon) and Rai’s Pour House (Sterling), Tommy Junior has performed at house music events throughout the DMV, notably Twelve After Twelve (DC) and Gramophone (DC).
Rai’s Rendezvous opened in October 2023. Its eclectic and sophisticated menu - the creation of renowned Executive Chef John Iatrellis - features elegantly crafted small plates, handhelds, snacks and pizzas as well as specialty cocktails and a selection of local beer and wine. That same flair for sophistication and creativity will extend to the many events that Rai’s Rendezvous intends to host in 2024.
The House Music Series at Rai’s Rendezvous will be held on Sunday nights, from 9:30pm - Close.
