Chime In to Change Lives: Participate in Alexandria’s Health Assessment
All Alexandrians must have the opportunity to thrive. We know community conditions, like structural racism and all forms of discrimination, impact residents' health. But nobody knows your health better than you. Here’s your chance to weigh in on what health issues you and your neighbors are experiencing, and what matters most. Your voice, combined with data analysis, will help Alexandria Health Department identify the city’s top health issues and understand their causes. These findings will inform an actionable plan for a healthier Alexandria. 
Join the 2024 Kick-Off Event for Alexandria’s Community Health Assessment (CHA) on Wednesday, August 28th, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., at Patrick Henry Recreation Center (4653 Taney Ave.) to learn about the process and ways to get involved! Please register online or call 703.244.5654.
The kick-off is open to the public. The event includes a free meal, interpreters in Spanish, Amharic, and Dari, and activities for kids.
