Free Coats for Kids - Knights of Columbus
Free coats are being given out to ANY CHILD who needs one on Friday November 25th, 2022 (Black Friday) starting at 10:00am until 1:00pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1600 Morris Road SE) while supplies last.
All are welcome! No registration required. First come, first served.
The day after the country pauses and gives thanks for the blessings around them, the District of Columbia State Council of the Knights of Columbus will once again be distributing thousands of coats to children in need as part of the annual “Coats for Kids” program. These brand new coats are provided free of charge on Black Friday and will fit children to teenagers and some young adults. The program, which was started by the Knights in DC, has been occurring every year since 2009 and is now an international program which has given over half a million coats to children throughout North America. This year the coats will be distributed in Southeast DC at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Black Friday November 25 from 10am – 1pm.
